This page supports the YouTube trial of the many freelancing supporting websites promoted on the internet. I commit to keep checking the websites occasionally to review the position of each them and update on this page.
- Rev.com and humanatic.com (click to watch the video) – rev.com is a transcription service provider that allows only South Africans but humanatic.com does not working from the African country I live in – 20/12/2022.
- Trymata.com (formerly trymuUI) and ferpection.com (click to watch the video) – both are testing websites that do not work in the African country I live in – 20/12/2022.
- Markercontent.com (click to watch video) – Markercontent.com is an article writer market where freelancers get to display their work. This website will first evaluate your work for approval, after which you will be allowed to participate as a freelancer. It welcomes people from anywhere in the world, including Africa, to participate and make money. 25/12/2022.
- Honeygain.com (click to watch the video) – This one was promising and I earned a little then got so disappointed with their model as it didn’t work as I would expect it to.I don’t recommend it for the following reasons:
-
- There is way to little that you make
- It uses the downline model, even though its only one level
- My tablet crushed when I opened a Christmas message from them. 6/01/23.
-
- Hiresine.com (click to watch the video) – This website is not true to its promise. When you follow the application for jobs buttons you get redirected to another website that has ads. When you reach this website that is full of PPC ads, you keep going round in circles and never reach the page on which you will place your application. 7/01/23.
- microworkers.com (click to watch the video) – This platform works and I’m excited to mentions that I saw some workers from my country that have earned some money for themselves. I also have tested it myself and my wallet will surely grow bigger as I continue to participate in their platform.
- warriorplus.com on affiliate marketing (click to watch the video) – This Company lists products for which you can create an affiliate link for and then promote in anyway possible to you. I was able to register but am not yet ready to create the links that I will be promoting yet.
- Surveyjankie.com and Amazon Remote Jobs (click to watch the video) – Survey junkie does not work from where I live and therefore I believe most African countries are barred from participating. On another note, I tried Amazon remote work and found that its got nothing to do with freelancing but part time and part time jobs.
- ChatGPT (click to watch video) – This is an artificial intelligence (AI) system that is largely used to create content. The desktop version did not work for me from Eswatini but their mobile app worked on a trial basis. I also got a comment from a viewer in Namibia who said it is available in their country. Updated:26/09/23
- Respondent (click for video) – This is a survey website that offers really good money for taking surveys with them. You fill up your demographics and they either send you are request to fill questionnaires or you apply for those that you think you qualify for. There has not been anything I earned with them yet. However, it does look like if you are in other parts of the world it does work. Click to join Respondent.
- Medium and HubPages (click for video) – These two are article sharing websites. They just display your articles for readers to enjoy, with the hope that readers might click on ads, act in a certain way so that you can get a share. Medium is not for Africans but HubPages works for all people, including us Africans.
- Clickasnap (click for video) – You are allowed to share as many photos as you can to attract views. You are promised to earn as people view your photos. This site has not worked for me so far and many have found it to be a scam. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Updated: 26/09/23
- ko-fi-com (click for video) – This is a platform that allows you to sell your services and do content marketing without having your own website. I joined to sell my translation, transcription and voice over services for the Zulu and SiSwati language across to English. I like it and I recommend it even for starters. 1/11/23
- Scribie and scribrr (click for video) – Scribie will require a valid PayPal account, which for me was a ticket to register. The challenge came in when I found no test file as a step to go through to working with them. Scribie failed just like that. Scibrr has a condition I can’t meet, that is, being a native Dutch, German, French and English.
This page will be updated on a continuous basis. Do come back for more.
