If you have completed your high schooling or form 5, it does not matter the grades you got but you can be of service to someone else somewhere. Just from wherever you are in Africa, this opportunity is open to you. That you have completed form 5 means you have learnt far more than many people and there are those that are following you up to your level to whom you can be of great help.
It is a given that subjects you have covered include English, Maths, your mother language and Science. I know that for many completers, there are much more subjects that they have done, additional to the ones I listed. To your advantage, you can score 100% in any subject for the grades 1 to 5. The principle to learn from the best learner in class applies since you clearly can top all students in those lower classes.
In this post, I want to demonstrate how school completers can start marketing themselves to offer a freelancing service by way of a dummy profile.
Take a reflection on yourself

Do note that I sometimes get in touch with prospective customers for a wide range of services that I myself do not offer, of which if the meet your profile, I will refer them to you.
The profile
To increase chances of consideration from prospective customers, I suggest you prepare a bank of questions from which you will give to your learners for free. You may use the model used by authors of your class workbooks where workings and answers are given in the pages at the back. All this should be mentioned in the profile as you will see.
A video of yourself promoting your service will greatly improve consideration by your prospective clients. Again, this is not complicated; you just can use your smartphone to create that video. If you don’t have artificial lights for a good video, capture at it at daytime where you have an advantage of the natural light. I recommend that you first visit other service providers that offer them same on fiverr and other freelancing platforms to learn how they structure it. You can use search words such as teacher, lower grade tutor, lower grades teacher and math extra classes.

This you must know that there already are thousands of sellers who offer a very similar service yet again there are thousands who want the service. You can be appealing to your clients just by being unique in many ways. This may include your ethnicity, accent, gender, location, etc. Don’t ever take an inferior approach to your freelancing career.
